WHY OUR KIDS THINK YOU SHOULD PLAN A TRIP TO THE SOUTH OF FRANCE AND STAY AT LE MOULIN SUR CÉLÉ
We asked our kids, Carl, James and Christina what, for them, makes the Lot region such a special place to holiday? As a family, we choose France for many summer holidays over the years and more recently, they have had first hand experience of the Lot during time spent at Le Moulin.
Here are their answers:
THE FOOD
Carl shares his passion for French food “There is nothing nicer than the smell and taste of a freshly baked baguette or croissant. In France, they use only the finest ingredients and you know that the bread is made with love. From rustic, traditional fare to fine dining, the French have a flair for food. No holiday is complete without a trip to the local market and a visit to some of the great restaurants in the Lot region”.
THE WEATHER
According to James “I love the endless summer sunshine which extends through to late autumn. You can more or less plan a BBQ or outdoor event in France whilst in Ireland, it’s a bit of a lottery. While it can get quite hot in the height of the summer, it’s not too intense and you can always jump in the pool or river to cool down. It’s a big plus that Le Moulin has air conditioning available for our guests”.
NATURE
Christina loves the great outdoors “The world has become a very noisy and crowded place so it’s important to find somewhere to slow down and reconnect with yourself, your family or friends. Le Moulin makes me feel close to nature and more relaxed. There are lots of lovely walks in the area and plenty of quiet corners in the gardens at Le Moulin”.
We’re happy to help should you require any additional information or assistance.
The warmest of welcomes awaits.
